I have started playing Pokemon Crystal on my phone through some completely legal means. *wink wink* I had only played the gold version before but hadn't completed it so I thought I'd pick up crystal version because I like the 2nd generation of Pokemon and didn't wanna replay gold. My cousin sister's over at my place and she was annoying me to let her game on my phone. I don't like a lot of modern games *cough*candycrush*cough* and my phone's too crappy to play good ones, but I did have SNES and Gameboy emulators (obtained through totally leagal sources of course) . And I thought what better than 90s games for a kid to play. In my opinion the old Nintendo games are far superior than a lot of modern mobile *cough*candycrush*cough* games. I may sound like a cranky old man, but it just seems a lot of mobile games are just making kids dumber. I've had exams and what not, so I was a bit too busy to blog. Recording a podcast is easier cz all I have to do is talk. But writing a post takes a bit of time. So I had not written a proper long post in quite a while. But now the exams are over and the vacations have begun so I have a lot of free time on my hand to do everything I wanted to do this past year. I still have to catch up to all the TV shows, movies, video games, etc. With that I'm also planning on starting a couple of new projects. I don't know what those projects are. So Microsoft is now going all out in making Windows 10 as awesome as possible.  With it's universal app it's now easier to develop apps for multiple Windows devices. This video from Computer Clan  gives a brief demo of the preview build of Windows 10. -B1ack Rose

It's now obvious that Microsoft can't count, with the skipping of Windows 9 to directly Windows 10. But in their Windows 10 live event, they introduced something else, that i was not expecting at all. Hololens. Microsoft claims it to be the next generation of computing. Not only does it have a traditional CPU and GPU. It also has another processor. The lens agumates Hologram into real world. I is completely independent, as in, it does not require any external hardware to run. No phones, no PC. Is this the future? We have been seeing holograms in Science-Fiction for a long time now. And now it's becoming a reality. But this also reminds me of a couple of other technological wonders that's been introduced. Ah, memories. These are meant to last forever. But my stupid brain just hates them. My brain hates me. It can remember something trivial for a long time, but when it comes to something of importance. Nope! Memory has been a topic of interest for me for quite some time now. I've researched quite a bit about it and am also currently reading a book called "Moonwalking with Einstein" by Joshua Foer which deal with this subject. Point to keep in mind is that your IQ or level of intellignce has nothing to do with how much you can remember. You could have an IQ level of 300 and still forget where you kept your keys. No. Memory depends on HOW you use it. Even a person with average memory can do wonders if he uses his memory in a proper way. There are lots of techniques you can use to remember stuff easily. Every gamer knows the importance of having a unique and cool name/gamer tag. Cz its always the name that stays on your opponents lips as you assassinate him (or her) for the fourth time using that cool ass blade of yours. It gives you an identity. It gives you a goal. It gives you a dream. A dream of seeing that sweet name adorning the top of the leaderboard. Of course having a cool name doesn't necessarily mean victory. But what's the point of winning if you don't look cool doing it.  Imagine how pissed you would be if Mr. Poopy Fluffypants beats your ass to a pulp in you favourite game. So yeah. Hello, people of the internet (yes, the 2 of you). I come in peace (cz I know how hostile the internet can be). This is my first attempt at blogging, and seeing how bad I'm doing, might as well be my last. Damn, how do people do this consistently? Yet again the internet amazes me. Amuses  me.
